Schema Smart Grouping Tool
This tool allows you to automate the grouping of URLs for publishing schema
Milestone Schema Manager’s Smart Grouping feature groups URLs with similar content into groups so that you can publish schema across pages with similar content. This drastically reduces deployment times for schema at scale.
The Smart Folder Grouping utility folder contains all the files and folders required to automate URL grouping on Milestone Schema Manager.
In the ‘Smart Folder Grouping’ folder click on the ‘urls’ folder
Open the ‘url’ spreadsheet and update the URLs you wish to create groups for
Important Note: Save the spreadsheet as ‘url’. The tool will not accept input files that carry names other than ‘url’
Navigate to the Milestone SFG folder
Open the Smart Grouping tool called ‘Smart Folder Grouping’
To create new groups for the URLs in the ‘url’ spreadsheet enter ‘1’ and press ‘Enter’
After the groups have been created an output file is generated in the ‘Grouped’ folder
You can open the file to view the URLs and their groups
Upload the output file in the ‘URL Grouping’ section within the ‘Settings’ tab
