Facebook Insights

The Facebook Insights section provides an overview of how your business profiles are performing on Facebook for the selected date range and profiles. It tracks key customer interactions, page views, and fan growth to help businesses monitor their social engagement.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Accessing Facebook Insights
From the main dashboard, click on Local Insights.
Select Facebook Insights from the dropdown menu.

Dashboard Filters
Once you are on the Facebook Insights screen:
Click on the Settings button.
Three filter options will appear:
- Chart Type
- Group
- Widgets

Customizing the Chart Type
Choose your preferred visual format:
- Default (line chart)
- Area chart
- Bar chart
- Pie chart
If you select a different chart type, it will update only if that widget supports the chosen format.
Grouping the Data
Under the Group option, you can view your data grouped by:
- Day
- Week
- Month
Selecting Widgets
You can view data from up to 7 widgets.
Choose All to view all available widgets or handpick specific ones you want to display.
Comparing KPIs
You can view and compare multiple KPIs by simply clicking on them.
For each widget selected, you can:
View aggregated performance across all profiles.

View individual profile performance by clicking the location icon.

Facebook Insights Widgets Overview
With Facebook Insights, you can track:
Page Views
Number of times your page has been viewed by customers.

Customer Actions
Actions taken such as website visits, direction requests, and calls.

Customer Interactions
How customers interacted with your business, including check-ins.

Fans
Track your page followers and monitor growth over time.

Exporting Facebook Insights Data
Click on the Export button on the top right.
Choose the file format to export your data, either PDF or Excel.

Glossary
- Page Views: The total number of views your Facebook page received.
- Customer Actions: Website clicks, direction requests, and phone calls initiated from your page.
- Customer Interactions: Engagements such as Facebook check-ins.
- Fans: Number of users who follow your page.
