Understanding Local Listing Types: Managed Vs. Monitored Vs. Custom Listings custom listings

When viewing the ‘Listing Status’ screens you would have noticed 3 broad listing types:

Managed Listing:

Managed Listings basically mean that the details such as UNAP, special hours, category, and so on, are completely managed by Milestone either via API submission or manual spreadsheet submissions. In short, Milestone has complete control over the business details that fall under Managed listings.

Monitored Listing:

Monitored listings are those that Milestone can only audit but cannot make changes or rectify details from Presence Cloud. We can only flag inconsistencies, if any, and the client has to get in touch with the directory to manage the inconsistency.

Custom Listing:

Custom Listings are if directories backlink to your website and no action to fix the business details is required from Milestone or the client in this case.
