Visibility Score

Understand the formula behind your Visibility Score and how to interpret the results to improve AI discoverability.

What Is the Visibility Score?

The Visibility Score represents how often your business appears as a citation or reference in AI-generated answers for the prompts you are tracking. It helps determine how visible your brand is within AI search environments and how you compare against competitors.

High visibility = greater likelihood of brand discovery, engagement, and conversions from AI-driven search.

How the Score Is Calculated

The Visibility Score is calculated based on the percentage of tracked prompts where your business appears in the results across selected Large Language Models (LLMs).

  • Visibility Score (%) = (Number of prompts where the business is mentioned / Total number of prompts tracked) × 100
Range Status Meaning
0–20% Invisible Brand rarely appears in AI-generated results
21–40% Weak Low visibility compared to competitors
41–60% Average Moderate presence, opportunity for improvement
61–80% Good Strong visibility & competitive performance
81–100% Leader Top-performing brand in AI search discovery
