Agency Dashboard

Overview

The Milestone agency dashboard provides a centralized workspace for agencies to manage multiple businesses, users, and digital operations from a single interface. It is designed to simplify onboarding, reduce operational complexity, and give teams clear visibility and control across all managed accounts.

Agencies can create and manage businesses, assign users and roles, configure account-level settings, and monitor performance from one unified dashboard. The dashboard’s modern, consistent design enables faster navigation, easier decision-making, and scalable management as agency needs grow.

Why the Agency Dashboard Matters

The previous agency experience suffered from multiple limitations:

·         No single home screen for agency users to manage businesses and users, and profiles.

·         Outdated design language that was inconsistent with the rest of the platform.

·         Fragmented workflows that require multiple navigation steps (e.g., Business → Profiles → Profile).

·         High friction for common actions like:

o   Creating a business

o   Accessing profiles

o   Managing agency users

o   Managing configurations

·         Limited scalability for new agencies onboarding onto the platform.

The Dashboard addresses those gaps by consolidating workflows and modernizing the agency experience end to end.

What’s New

1. New Agency Dashboard (Single Home Screen)

The Agency Dashboard is now the default home screen for agency users.

What it enables:

·         View all businesses under the agency in one place

·         Perform key actions in one click, including:

o   Add a new business

o   Access business information

o   Jump directly to profiles

Eliminate multi-step navigation from the old workflow

Result: Faster access, fewer clicks, and significantly reduced friction.

2. Simplified Business Management Workflow

Create a Business

·         Add a new business directly from the Agency Dashboard using a single action.

Enter the business name, alias, primary contact name, business email, phone number, account manager and click on ‘Add Business’.

Newly created businesses immediately appear in the dashboard list.

Access a Business or Profile

·         Navigate directly to:

o   Business details

o   Associated profiles

·         No longer required to go through intermediate “Business” or “All Profiles” screens.

Use the search bar to type in the name of the business or alias (business and profile).

3. Multiple Views for Business Listing

To match different agency preferences, the dashboard now supports two viewing modes:

·         Tile View

o   Visual, card-based layout

o   Commonly used by agencies managing multiple brands

·         List View

o   Compact, table-style layout for quick scanning

Additional controls include:

·         Active / Inactive toggle to quickly identify business status

4. Centralized Agency User Management

Agency users can now be managed entirely from one screen.

Capabilities include:

·         Add new agency users

·         Edit user information

·         Deactivate users

·         Search users

·         Filter users by role

This removes the need for navigating across multiple screens to manage agency-level users.

5. Agency-Enabled Roles & Permissions

Roles management has been enhanced to support agency-level customization.

There are two parts to this:

1.      Permission management:

Here users can select existing roles that have been defined and map the extent of capability for each module.

For example:

Select a role: Global Administrator

Assign the capability or function:

Here, the global administrator is allowed to read, update, create, and delete.

Users can also add a custom role based on the needs of their agency using this option:

2.      Role Mapping

Role mapping defines which roles a user can assign to other users when they are added to a business. This creates a hierarchy of permissions and controls who can grant access to specific roles.

How it works:

Select the role: Global Administrator in this case.

Now select the roles that the Global Administrator can assign:

This new addition ensures flexibility in role management for agencies and defining a clear hierarchy of functions that users can perform within the agency.

6. New Account Settings Section (Agency-Level)

A brand-new Account Settings screen consolidates all agency-level configurations into a single location.

Includes:

·         Account information of the user

·         All agency-level integrations

To save or connect a source, click on the source, enter the details and click on ‘save’ or ‘connect’.

When required, users can also add connections using this option.

Benefit: Cleaner navigation and easier discoverability of agency-wide settings.

7. Agency-Level Product Dashboards (Schema, Insights, Insights)

Schema Manager, Local and Insights dashboards are already available in this new view.

What this means:

·         Agencies can surface aggregate data across all businesses for these products.
