Content Studio Preferences

The preferences panel in Content Studio gives you more control over how your content is generated. Here's how you can access the Preferences in Content Studio.

Step 1: Click on the ‘Settings’ option in the Content Studio dashboard.

Step 2: Click on ‘Preferences’ in the Settings menu.

The Additional Preferences panel allows users to customize grammar and style settings that influence how content is generated and formatted in Content Studio. These preferences help align AI-generated output with brand guidelines, editorial standards, and writing conventions without modifying underlying AP style rules.

Use an en dash to connect ranges of numbers or dates

Ampersand Usage

Restrict ampersand usage to brand names

Prevents the use of “&” in standard text while allowing it where it is part of an official brand name.

Disable use of “+” to mean “and”

Ensures formal language by replacing plus symbols with the word “and.”

Dates and Numbers

Standardizes number formatting for readability:

Use commas in numbers with four or more digits

Automatically applies comma separators to large numbers for clarity.

This panel gives users granular control over punctuation, symbol usage, and numeric formatting so generated content stays consistent with organizational writing standards and publication guidelines.
