Release Jul 20, 2026
This release helps clients onboard faster, manage content with stronger governance, scale parent-child website experiences, simplify integrations, and improve the reliability of local and AI visibility workflows.
As digital programs become more complex across locations, channels, websites, and AI discovery platforms, clients need faster setup, clearer control, and more consistent execution. These updates strengthen the foundation for scalable digital operations across the Milestone platform.
Milestone Presence Cloud
Faster Onboarding for Net-New Customers
Business Problem
New customer onboarding can involve multiple manual steps across sales orders, business creation, profile setup, and product configuration. This can slow down activation and increase the risk of missing or inconsistent setup.
User Story
As an onboarding team member, I want new customer businesses, profiles, and purchased product access to be created from approved sales order data, so that clients can begin using the platform faster with fewer manual setup steps.
What’s New
Milestone Presence Cloud now supports a faster onboarding flow for eligible net-new customers. Approved sales order data can be used to create businesses and profiles and map purchased line items to the appropriate plans, features, data sources, and configurations.
The platform now follows a line-item-driven model instead of relying on package-based setup. This makes product access easier to standardize, validate, and manage.
Business Impact
Clients can be activated faster, onboarding teams spend less time on repetitive setup, and product access is applied more consistently from the start.
Plan Configuration: Standardized Product and Feature Management
Business Problem
As clients add more products, profiles, and locations, managing access through disconnected or manually configured tooling can become difficult to scale.
User Story
As a platform administrator, I want product features, data sources, and settings to be managed through standardized plans, so that each client receives the right capabilities based on what they purchased.
What’s New
Plan Configuration now acts as a central control point for mapping product line items to features, data sources, and settings. The Plan tab gives teams clearer visibility into what is enabled for each business and profile.
Eligible features can also be assigned directly at the profile level when needed, giving teams more flexibility without disrupting the broader business-level setup.
Business Impact
Clients get a more transparent, scalable, and reliable configuration model, reducing setup errors and making future product changes easier to manage.
CMS
Content Moderation Workflow
Business Problem
Enterprise teams need stronger control over website publishing, especially when multiple users create or edit content. Without an approval process, pages can go live before the right stakeholders review them.
User Story
As a content manager, I want website updates to go through review and approval before publishing, so that my team can prevent inaccurate, incomplete, or unapproved content from going live.
What’s New
CMS now supports a structured content moderation workflow in Page Studio. Content moves through draft, review, approval, and publishing stages.
Editors can submit pages for review, assign reviewers, add descriptions, and respond to requested changes. Reviewers can approve and publish content or request edits. Pages under review are locked to prevent conflicting edits while approval is in progress.
Business Impact
Clients gain stronger publishing governance, reduced content risk, and a clearer review process for teams managing website updates across brands, properties, and locations.
Approval Management: A Scalable Governance Foundation
Business Problem
Approval workflows are needed across more than one product area. Clients need a consistent way to manage review processes across content, assets, and digital experiences.
User Story
As an enterprise marketing leader, I want a shared approval framework across platform workflows, so that my teams can manage content governance consistently across products.
What’s New
Approval Management has been introduced as a platform-level capability. CMS is the first supported use case, with the foundation designed to extend to other workflows across the platform.
Reviewers can see assigned items, act on pending requests, and manage approvals from a centralized workflow experience.
Business Impact
Clients get a governance model that can scale beyond individual CMS pages, supporting more controlled publishing and review processes across the broader digital ecosystem.
Event Calendar: Filter User-Created Events
Business Problem
When multiple users manage the same event calendar, it can be difficult to quickly find and update the events created by a specific user.
User Story
As a content contributor, I want to filter the calendar by events I created, so that I can quickly find, review, and manage my own event content.

What’s New
Event Calendar now includes a filter for user-created events. Users can apply the filter to view only the events created by them.
Business Impact
Clients can manage event content more efficiently, especially when multiple contributors are working in the same calendar.
Event Calendar: Cleaner Display for Recurring Events
Business Problem
Recurring events can clutter event lists and calendars when each occurrence appears separately. This can make the event experience harder to browse and manage.
User Story
As a website manager, I want recurring events to appear as a single combined instance, so that visitors see a cleaner calendar experience and internal teams can manage events more easily.

What’s New
CMS now supports a configuration option to display recurring events as a single combined instance.
Business Impact
Clients can reduce calendar clutter, improve the visitor experience, and simplify event management for recurring programs.
CMS Parent-Child Sites: Centrally Managed Dynamic Components
Business Problem
Brands with parent-child site structures often need to share dynamic content across multiple child sites. Recreating or updating this content manually across sites creates extra work and increases the risk of inconsistency.
User Story
As a multi-location brand manager, I want dynamic components created at the parent site to be available on child sites, so that shared content can be managed centrally and reused across the network.
What’s New
Centrally managed component support has been expanded to dynamic CMS collection components. A dynamic component created at the parent site can now be marked as centrally managed and made available to child sites.
Business Impact
Clients can scale shared content faster, reduce duplicate production work, and maintain stronger consistency across parent-child website networks.
CMS Parent-Child Sites: Component Cloning Enhancements
Business Problem
Users often need to create similar components across pages or sites. Rebuilding layouts, formats, styling, scripts, and data associations from scratch takes time and can introduce inconsistencies.
User Story
As a CMS user, I want to clone an existing component with its associated setup, so that I can reuse it quickly and customize it for a new purpose.
What’s New
CMS now includes improved cloning support for standard and centrally managed components. When a component is duplicated, the relevant setup can be copied into a new reusable instance, including associated formats, styling, scripts, and data collection configuration.
Business Impact
Clients can speed up website production, reduce repetitive work, and maintain more consistent digital experiences across pages and sites.
CMS Parent-Child Sites: Profile-Based Record Sharing
Business Problem
Parent-child site networks need central control over which content records appear on specific child sites or profiles. Managing these records individually at each child site can be inefficient and difficult to maintain.
User Story
As a parent-site administrator, I want to control which records are shared with specific child sites or profiles, so that each location displays the right content while updates remain centrally managed.
What’s New
CMS now supports profile-based record sharing from the parent site. Users can manage record visibility for specific child profiles, update records centrally, and publish changes to the correct child experiences.
Business Impact
Clients can support a hub-and-spoke content model, centralize updates, and still deliver relevant content for each location, property, or child site.
Local Listings: Social Link Sync from Google Business Profile
Business Problem
Complete local profile data is important for visibility and customer engagement. When social links are not included in profile syncs, teams may need to update them manually.
User Story
As a local listings manager, I want social links from Google Business Profile to sync into the platform, so that local profile data stays more complete without extra manual updates.
What’s New
Local profile synchronization now includes social links from Google Business Profile.
Business Impact
Clients can maintain more complete local listings data, reduce manual upkeep, and improve consistency across local discovery channels.
